Night of Knives

I think Ian Esslemont is a better introduction to the Malazan universe than even Steven Erikson. I am really enjoying Night of Knives.

I am also about half way through The Worm of Ouroboros. It is fantastic although hard reading from time to time. Well worth it.

Hi Durin,

How RU old friend? How fares your marriage?

Hey, if you like super heroes at all and near future sci-fi...I recently read a really good book by Kaitlin Kitridge and Jackie Kessler. Both authors are usually "dark fantasy"/urban fantasy authors (vampires etc.). But they did a really good job with this genre'. It has some four color comic book tropes w/o being at all cheesy. You might like it.

God's got a wicked sense of humor when it comes to Marriage.

Still a work in progress

Boy! I hear that re: Marriage!

Btw, do you like the SteamPunk genre'? May I recommend an EXCELLENT tome? It's Cherie Priest's latest called Bone Shaker and it's a great read so far.

What are you reading these days?
